Research interests are in the areas of: (1) Drug Design: anticancer, anti-infectives, anti-inflammation, immune regulation; (2) Drug delivery: prodrug, receptor-mediated drug delivery, drug-release chemistry; (3) New diagnostics, fluorescent sensors, and molecular probes; (4) Disease biomarkers including carbohydrate biomarkers.
